A very warm welcome to High Meadow Community School. On behalf of myself, the Staff and the Governors, I welcome you to our website and hope that you enjoy discovering what makes our school so special. High Meadow is a very happy place where all the team take pride in the relationships they make with the children and take time to get to know the children and families individually. Our community is very important and is at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that children should enjoy the learning process and we offer a range of rich and exciting experiences that encourage children to be curious, confident and eager to learn more. Our expectations in all areas of school life are high. We want only the very best for all the children in our care and for their families.

The staff at High Meadow, are committed to the delivery of high quality lessons, which engage and inspire all children. Centred around our curriculum are our ‘Learning Powers’. We aspire to ‘live out’ these values at school and at home and pride ourselves on developing the individual character and unique strengths of our pupils.

 

 

We aim to promote the physical, mental and emotional health of the whole school community, thereby enabling our children to make healthy choices and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Our mission is to provide a safe and caring environment for the children in our care: one which allows them to be confident to take risks in their learning and feel supported through their primary school journey. We understand that these school years will help set the foundations and building blocks for a positive, life-long journey of learning, developing and fulfillment.

We want children and families to feel welcome, secure and valued: partnership with our parents is key to providing the stable foundations for children to flourish. We therefore encourage parents to talk to us about any matters relating to their child.

Parents are always welcome in school and the important contribution they make to school life is appreciated, as we believe that truly successful education comes from working together.
